Design
Design joined the School of Computing Mathematical Sciences in 2002 with the Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design (BCGD): a conjoint degree offered by the University of Waikato and The Wanganui School of Design. Over time the University offered the BCGD on its own, eventually transitioning design into a new framework with the Bachelor of Design (BDes) in 2018.
The BDes has four majors:
• Interface Design
• Industrial Design
• Communication Design
• Media Design
